Storm & hail damage roof repair

A big storm rolls through, and the next morning you're wondering what it did to your roof. We'll tell you, clearly and with photos, and at no cost.

What hail and wind actually do to a roof

Hail knocks the granules off your shingles. That's the gritty layer that blocks UV and sheds water. Strip it away and the shingle ages fast.

Wind works differently. It lifts shingles, breaks the seal underneath, and leaves creases. Once that seal is gone, the next gust gets under them easier.

Neither one is obvious from the ground, which is why a lot of storm damage goes unnoticed until a ceiling stain shows up.

How our free storm inspection works

We get on the roof and check the slopes, the valleys, the flashing, and the vents. We're looking for bruising, missing granules, lifted shingles, and any spot where water can sneak in.

Then we photograph it and walk you through what we found on your phone or at the kitchen table. Honest documentation, no scare tactics.

If it needs a repair, we'll quote it. If it doesn't, we'll say that too.

Repair, replace, or wait: getting a straight answer

Not every storm means a new roof. A few damaged shingles near a valley is a repair. Widespread bruising across every slope is a different conversation.

We'll lay out your options in plain terms, including roughly how much life the repair buys you. You make the call.

And if storm damage might be a covered claim, we document it properly and work alongside your insurance process.

Common questions

How can I tell if hail damaged my roof?
From the ground, usually you can't. Look for granules collecting in your gutters or at the bottom of downspouts, dents on metal vents or the gutters themselves, and bruising on the shingles up close. A free inspection settles it for sure.
How soon after a storm should I get it checked?
Sooner is better. Most insurance policies have a window to file after a storm, and small damage gets worse with the next rain. There's no cost to have us look, so there's no reason to wait.
Will a repair match my existing shingles?
We do our best to match color and profile, and we'll be honest if a clean match isn't possible. Sometimes a section repair makes sense; sometimes replacement is the better call. You'll get the straight story either way.
